I though we were going to have a tough time w/ 1850. As in "In Eighteen-hundred and fifty umm." Never mind ElizaRose, about skipping 1852---it was a quiet year ;D

In eighteen hundred and fifty four My final child went out the door And then my life was such a bore While working on the railway.
Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye While working on the railway.

Oh man we must be getting desperate....bee hives??? lol-I'm just kidding affanoffiona...they are quite creative actually. I would have never thought to rhyme bee hive with five. I'm quite the hypocrite...I've yet to write a verse. And everyone's going to hate me soon Cheers, Ginny

ok, I'm skiping to 1868:
In eighteen hundred and sixty eight, I got to Celtic Colours a little late, And then was docked and fired, So that's why Pat's not working on the railway
Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye Fil-li-me-oo-ri-oo-ee-aye While working on the railway
how is it do you think?

Good, but your third line should rhyme with 'eight' and 'late'. Might I suggest And Pat did never meet his date Joe
