Ciaran MacGillivray is one of the actors in tonight's performance of Norm Foster's "The Last Resort", a murder musical. The performance runs for 6 nights, then ending on March 4 with an afternoon show. Chosen by the FBI as a safe house for mob snitch Nick Galeazzo and his handler, Angela Miller, a rustic resort on the Saskatchewan prairie provides the unlikely backdrop for this hilarious musical farce by Norm Foster and Leslie Arden. Galeazzo and Millier find themselves among a potpourri of fellow guests. The entourage includes a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary, a set of twins (one good and one evil), and a self-absorbed poet. A misunderstood death threat sets the comedy into motion, ultimately leading to a stage littered with corpses. The remains are left for a bumbling detective to finally sort out. The entire nonsense is presided over by the resort’s German manager, who is not what she appears to be. The talented cast of 8 actors and singers includes Ron Newcombe, Holley Muise & [glow=yellow,2,300]Ciaran MacGillivray.[/glow] For tickets and information, contact the Boardmore Playhouse box office at: 563-1652 The show runs: February 28th - 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) - Pay-what-you-can night February 29th - 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) March 1st - 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) March 2nd - 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) March 3rd - 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) March 4th - 2pm (doors open at 1:30pm) Ticket prices are: $12 - General $8 - Students and Seniors $6 - CBU Students
