Happy 140th Canada ! We'll use this thread to speak about our celebrations for Canada Day 2007 as well as how the rest of the world are celebrating. Here's a good way to celebrate Canada Day a little early. If you live in London. Not London, Ontario. London, England, UK, Europe. It seems that a little piece of Canada will be in Trafalgar Square on June 29. www.canadadaylondon.com/

Test your knowledge of Canada...take this quiz from Rogers TV. This site will offer live streaming video of some of the celebrations from Parliament Hill. I only got 14 correct on the quiz too far south of the border.

You Know You’re A Canadian When… (from 89.7 The Coast FM - www.coastalradio.ca/You stand in "line-ups" at the movie, not lines You eat chocolate bars instead of candy bars You drink pop, not soda You know what it means to be on pogey You never miss "Coaches Corner". You drive on a highway, not a freeway You know what a toque is You know what a Robertson screwdriver is You have Canadian Tire money in your kitchen drawers You know that Casey and Finnegan are not a Celtic musical group You perk up when you hear the theme song from 'Hockey Night in Canada' You can sing "O' Canada" in French and actually know what the words mean!
