Hi all... I'm not sure exactly when this event occured; most likely last spring. The Mounted Police Foundation's 2nd Annual Gala event benefiting child safety was a terrific success raising over $50,000 to support internet safety initiatives. Read all about the Gala here. The evening finished on a high note as The Cottars, a young up and coming band from Cape Breton Nova Scotia, played an energetic set of Celtic music. There are over twenty pictures of The Cottars' performace here. Enjoy Joe

Hey Joe,
These are great picts. It is hard to believe that this is the same Fiona MacGillivary that sang Fair Thee Well Love on the Cape Breton by Request sampler CD. Her voice is so young and charming on that recording, and she looks so much more mature in these photographs.
God Bless, afanoffiona

She's still got the voice of an angel though. There's literally no one today who sings like her. Great pictures...thanks Joe!
