Joe,
Thanks! Scanlon has a really nice voice.....can't wait til they come to the US. I noticed you have them at the Newport Folk Fest in Rhode Island on the concert page. Where did you see that, Joe? They aren't listed on the festival's website. But I do know they have an Eastern Canada stage. The festival is lots of fun but REALLY pricey. Hopefully they make it a tour!

But I do know they have an Eastern Canada stage. Hello Adam! The sonicmusic.com site's calender has the MKP in Newport, Rhode Island, on Aug. 4. So I googled the city and date and found the Newport Folk Festival. And their press release mentioned an Eastern Canada Stage. Yay! Looks like some other great talent will be at this festival...Alison Krauss and Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and the Allman Brothers Band.

lyrics to Farewell My Love and Remember Me (sung slightly different by Pauline) Farewell My Love and Remember Me Our ship she's ready to sail away And its come my sweet comrades, o'er the stormy seas Our small white wings are all unfurled And soon shall swim in a watery world Don't forget Love, do not grieve For my heart is true and can not deceive My hand and heart, I will give to thee So farewell my love and remember me
Farewell sweet Dublin's hills and braes To Killiney mountain's silvery streams Where's many the fine long summer's day We loitered hours of joy away Don't forget Love, do not grieve For my heart is true and can not deceive My hand and heart, I will give to thee So farewell my love and remember me
It's now I must bid a long adieu To Wicklow and its beauties too Avoca's braes where lovers meet There to discourse in Maxims sweet Don't forget Love, do not grieve For my heart is true and can not deceive My hand and heart, I will give to thee So farewell my love and remember me
Farewell sweet Deviney, likewise the glen The old waterfall and then The lovely scene surrounding Bray Shall be my thoughts when far away Don't forget Love, do not grieve For my heart is true and can not deceive My hand and heart, I will give to thee So farewell my love and remember me from sniff.numachi.com/pages/tiFARWLREM.htmllyrics to Sally, Free and Easy Sally, free and easy, That should be her name. Sally, free and easy, That should be her name. Took a sailor's lovin' For a nursery game. Oh, the heart she gave him Was not made of stone. Oh, the heart she gave him Was not made of stone. It was sweet and hollow Like a honeycomb. Think I'll wait till morning, See the ensign down. Think I'll wait till sunrise, See the ensign down. See my coffin coming, To my burial groun'. Sally, free and easy, That should be her name. Sally, free and easy, That should be her name. Joe, The MacKenzie Project is now listed on the Newport Folk Fest page - www.festivalproductions.net/newportfolk/index.phpThere is no bio up yet but probably in time. Vishten is playing too - they are a really fun band from NB. It's really impressive that, considering the MPis a new outfit and have yet to release an album, got booked for this festival. Besides being arguably the most famous folk festival in America, it also draws big crowds. Edit by Joe...fixed the link
