The question made perfect sense Tia...let's see if I can answer with perfect sense. It could be the MacGillivrays wanted to cancel the gig altogether, and the MacKenzies wanted to play it. From what I read on here, the MacKenzie Project got going quicker than the MacGillivray Cottars (if that is their name now) did. It apparently is a good gig, but maybe the MacGillivray Cottars didn't think they'd be ready, or didn't want to travel...or maybe Claire was busy that weekend. All those are guesses on my part, because I really don't know!

I do think it makes more sense for at least ONE of them to play there, since they apparently got top billing. ;D

Good point mott. When I saw Rosie solo last year she was "representing" the Cottars since the whole group couldn't be there.
