Location: Wadsworth Auditorium, SUNY Geneseo
The MacKenzie Project is a new young band featuring members from accross the Celtic world.
Time: 8:00 pm.
Cost: $5 for students; $12 faculty/staff/alumni; $15 general public.

Parking and accessibility are available for disabled persons.

This is tempting! It's nowhere close to me - 6.5 hours or so - BUT it's on a Saturday and it's a nice drive through route 2 over to that part of NY. Hmmmm.....

Ack, why couldnt they be a couple hours north, and in the next country, but this is good that they are performing hopefully soon it will be in more places. Hopefully someone from here can go and tell us how they did

Well, I ordered tickets and we'll be on our way a week from Saturday. But first, I checked with the venue to make sure it was the right group.
I'm really looking forward to the concert to see how different it is from the Cottars. I noticed that Richard Wood is also a fiddler and stepdancer just like Roseanne. Maybe they'll perform a duet showing off these two talents.

I don't think Richard Wood will be there. He will be performing the night before in a PEI music showcase at one of the pre-ECMA events.
