This is taken from "The Buzz", PEI's Arts and Entertainment newspaper. Rosie MacKenzie, former fiddler and stepdancer with The Cottars, will perform a show in Stratford on May 24. Joining MacKenzie on piano and fiddle will be Cape Breton's Howie MacDonald, a member of The Rankin Family, and Dave MacIsaac, one of Canada's premiere Celtic guitarists. The show is a fundraiser for the Island Karate Club. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it or not, but I hope I can ;D Cheers, Ginny Edit by Joe: added date of performance

Hello Ginny Thanks for sharing this; I wonder if Rosie will also be appearing in any summer music festivals. I hope you can attend this show in Stratford! Best wishes, Joe

From the CBC PEI community notice board www.cbc.ca/pei/features/psa/I wonder what the CELTIC SUPER GROUP alludes to. Pauline Scanlon's myspace space makes no mention of this event Another arrangement perhaps?

The concert is featuring Dave MacIsaac and Howie MacDonald. They likely said Celtic Super Group either as a mistake, or just to increase the popularity of the show. It's been advertised on PEI that those two musicians will accompany her.
Cheers, Ginny
