This is a very interesting post and raises many questions. The opening paragraph of Joe's posting, which, I assume, was taken from the Calgary urbanmixer site (I can't get on the site - it keeps closing down) seems very close to the text on the official MacKenzie Project site. I wonder what has happened to the Project. Also, this group seems to be totally instrumental. Roseanne has a great voice, but has usually only sung backup and seems releuctant to be lead. Further, last year, the Project was said to be in the process of recording an album - but it never materialized, unfortunately. Have Pauline and Donough split from the Project? It is certainly hard to track down any info.If anyone can find out what's happening, I would love to hear about it.

Hello Garthmoe,
Sorry you had difficulty with that link...it was very slow to load for me just now.
I am unsure of what to make of Rosie's current and future venture. After this performance in Calgary, she is to appear in Manitoba the next day. The site for that performance still lists Jimmy, Richard Wood and Pauline Scanlon.
I had a look at Pauline's MySpace page and there is really no mention of the Project...just that Pauline "guested" on Rosie's CD at the start of the year.
The MacKenzie Project site needs a major updating. I am wondering whether to edit our description of the group on our forum's front screen.
We'll just have to see how things evolve; perhaps further news on any upcoming performances might shed some light here.
Best wishes, Joe

I hope that Rosie will sing. I think that she has a steller voice. Actually as a matter of fact, with all due respect to Fiona, I wished I could have heard even more of Rosie's voice on the "Forerunner" album.

Agreed, I also hope they start performing more, and possibly make that cd that seems to be in the making
