The Cottars are set to headline the musical line-up at the 2009 BC Scottish Highland Games.

Saturday, June 27 at the Percy Perry Stadium, Coquitlam BC

Edit...performance times announced...The Cottars will perform an acoustic show at 12:50 inside "the beer tent", then shows at 1:50 and 3:30 on the main stage.

The City of Coquitlam has been named a Cultural Capital of Canada for 2009.

One of those cultures is represented with the huge influx of all things Scottish on June 27 for the B.C. Highland Games.

Based on this, Mayor Richard Stewart has agreed to unofficially change Coquitlam's name to "MacQuitlam" for the day.

The music groups The Cottars and The Shee will also be there to sing and play.
