PBS TV stations throughout America are right now airing a program highlighting Rounder Records' 40th anniversary.
As this is pledge drive week, viewers are encouraged to call their local PBS stations. A monetary donation towards a pledge program usually results in a free gift. Well, with a pledge of $90, an exclusive CD will be given.
This exclusive-to-PBS CD features 12 songs from the Rounder catalog. This special compilation includes both brand new songs and catalog highlights by such artists asGrammy winning singer-songwriter Nanci Griffith, R & B originator Ruth Brown, the hot new Canadian band The Cottars, and bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley.
