Great Big Sea Juno Nomination

Just yesterday, Great Big Sea was nominated for a Juno Award for Group of the Year! They've been nominated several times, but have never won...personally I think it's about time they did

Also, Sean McCann has another solo CD that is about to be released. The launch party for "Son of a Sailor" will take place during the Ships and Dips cruise on Feb 8, 2011.

AND one final note...as part of the 2011 Canadian Winter Games celebration, Great Big Sea is giving a free concert in Halifax, NS on Feb 19, 2011. Will I be there? You bet

Oh yes, the Bieb belongs to us . I'm very excited about the concept of a FREE GBS concert, I'm just afraid that these weekly snowstorms we've been getting might interfere...fingers crossed for spring like weather at the end of February!
