BACK AGAIN BY VERY POPULAR DEMAND....

It's wacky...entertaining...and a crowd pleaser! It's the all-new Cape Breton Summertime Revue!

Due to the hugely successful eleven-date run in 2010... those caper crusaders are back for five shows in May!

The first show is on Tuesday, May 24 and there is a show each night, the last show is on Sunday, May 28, at the Savoy Theatre, Glace Bay, NS.

Ciaran and Fiona MacGillivray of The Cottars will be returning, as well as cast members Bette MacDonald, Maynard Morrison, Max MacDonald, Fred Lavery, Stephen Muise, Allie Bennet, Dave McKeough and Brian Talbot. Also to join the group this year are CB's own Colin Grant, Chrissy Crowley and special guest Sam Moon.

Tickets will be availble STARTING MARCH 28 at the Savoy Box Office (902-842-1577) 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday and on performance dates. Cost: $49. Money raised will once again go towards the Savoy Theatre.

Starring in the production will be Bette MacDonald, Maynard Morrison, Max MacDonald, Richard Burke, Fred Lavery, Stephen Muise, Allie Bennett, Dave McKeough, Brian Talbot, Fiona MacGillivray and Ciarán MacGillivray, who were all part of last year’s reunion show. New to the cast this year are Grant and Chrissy Crowley, as well as special guest Sam Moon.

“It’s a pretty cool experience. They treat us well ... and even though we’re new cast members, we’re learning the ropes pretty quick,” said Grant, adding, “Between Fiona and Ciarán MacGillivray, and Chrissy and I, there’s a lot of new ideas coming into the show that I think mean for some new musical surprises as well.”
