The Cottars are in the planning stages of a tour of Australia in 2011.
This thread will be for any information not pertaining to one particular concert event...there will be threads for each day of a performances.
Do keep in mind that each of the concerts, dates and info are subject to sudden change.

I wonder if young fiddler Rachel Davis will stand in for Claire Pettit. Rachel's schedules page has that Rachel will be at every venue in Australia.
Claire may have opted out to do her uni work.

Staff ~ The Cape Breton Post
The Cape Breton group, featuring Ciarán MacGillivray and his sister Fiona MacGillivray, Bruce Timmons and Clair Pettit, left earlier this week for Australia. The tour began Thursday and continues until April 3.
The 18-date tour will include stops at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Brunswick Music Festival, Nannup Folk Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival, and the Blue Mountains Folk Festival, as well as at venues in Sydney and Canberra.

The Cottars spent their last full day in Australia at the beach. They will be arriving home later on Tuesday (April 5)
