Hey guys,
I just saw this update on a facebook group about an East Coast performer named Nathan Rogers...

Nathan Rogers has annnounced a series of concert dates in Newfoundland in May. He continues his Nathan signs Stan tour with Rosie MacKenzie of Cottars fame, on fiddle. We've updated our story with the tour dates and locations and you can still listen to our interview with Nathan, one of the most popular we've produced.

I've never heard of him, but I think I might google him and see what I can uncover..sounds like a bit of an ongoing project?

Well this is a bit embarrassing...but I guess that Nathan Rogers is actually Stan Rogers' son! Makes sense...but considering that Stan Rogers died quite young, I wasn't aware that he had any children. Definitely sounds like a wonderful tribute to his dad!

Thanks, Ginny, for finding this. I have been wondering what Rosie was doing lately. I wonder if they are touring.

From the sounds of things, Rosie is just accompanying during his Newfoundland tour, so I would assume that means that she is still around the Maritime area. I haven't heard anything else about the MacKenzie Project since I saw them live a couple of years ago, so I have no idea if they are still doing anything anymore...

I looked up Nathan Rogers on Wikipedia; he was just short of his 4th birthday when his dad passed. That's great he is keeping up his dad's tradition.
