This Saturday April 23, Tommy Makem (among others) will be homored for his induction into the Irish American Hall of Fame. There will be a dinner at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago, and his sons will be accepting the award. You can read about the gala and about all the honorees at iahof.org/.
And the night before, Friday night, the Makem and Spain Brothers will be performing a concert at the Center. I will be there! (I will not be at the awards gala, a little too expensive),
