Hi Caper,
Thanks for the link to Fiona's website. However I feel that the info and photos it contains are too personal, so I removed the link for now. Also, I moved your post to a board that guests can't read.
I've sent a Private Message to Ginny and afanoffiona for their opinion on whether to include the link.

Hi all,
The moderators and I have decided to let Fiona herself decide whether or not we should post caper23's link to Fiona's website.
I hope that Allister relayed my message to her...I hoped that he knew what his daughter was sharing on the net.
So far Allister hasn't responded.

Hey Everyone!
I agree with ElizaRose. I am wondering if maybe the Cottars just don't want to have any contact with anyone right now.
It is really curious that at their last concert in Boston, only Ciaran and Fiona were there, while Claire and Bruce were not. It is also curious that Alister hasn't been sending Joe any updates. As far as I know, we have only been getting updates from the miramusic website. I am wondering if they are having difficulty keeping the group together considering everyone lives so far apart.
I don't know. Maybe trying Fiona's address isn't such a good idea. I mean, to have someone e-mail her who found her e-mail from that website might make her feel awkward. Also, if the Cottars don't want any contact with us, it would only be antagonistic. I think that we should just keep the link off of the boards unless we hear from Alister. That way, we can play it safe.

It seems to me, that we have had problems getting any info since the breakup in August. It has been total scattered and random any kind of performance or information on sites. They have done nothing to the myspace site and very little from the Mira site. I just wish they could give a little more info somewhere just to say hey we are done or just be a little bit more patient and we'll be back you know? I almost feel as if the fans are totally in the dark and unfortunately this could alienate people. I do hope they will give proper info soon, either way.

Remember though, she did put it on the web, and once you put it there, you know that anyone can see it.
Its up to you whether you put the address up or not, but just thought i'd point that out

I agree with Mott and Faerie as well. The problem is that I am not sure Fiona ever figured on someone accidentally finding her site. I think she just meant it for her and her friends. I mean, if no one but her friends know she has a website, it is not much of a problem. However, now the problem becomes what to do now that people other than her friends know that she has a website. Mott has raised a very interesting problem. Now that people know that her website exists, if they really want to find it, they will be able to do so. What do we do about that? This is just one of those wierd things that happen  . That is why I thought Alister and Fiona should know about it. It is just wierd that we haven't heard back from him. God Bless, afanoffiona |

Hi all, Just want to fill you all in on something. Caper23 deleted her post that told us about Fiona's site. She sent me a private message, which I just read now, saying she was sorry to cause trouble. Shortly afterwards, she deleted her membership on the forum.  I'm sure you'll agree that I and the moderators made the right choice by removing the link to Fiona's site. That site contained offensive language and photos of her driving license, pics with her friends, prom night, Ciaran's room, etc. No response was received from the MacGillivrays permission-wise either.
