The Cottars' Bruce Timmons has done some guitar strumming for a Nova Scotian-based Christian group. The group Acacia (with duo Gail Fulop & Wayne Slaunwhite), along with co-writer Charlene Billard have released their first CD 'What Matters'. This project was 6 years in the making and includes fabulous Guest Musicians: Don Chapman (one of Halifax's Top Drummer/Percussionist, Juno Award Winner), Pat Riley (well-renowned, reputable Bass player), Bruce Timmins (Guitar Virtuoso with the 'Cottars', John Allen Cameron & many others), Gordon Stobbe ('Up Home Tonight' TV Host, multi-talented violinist, mandolin, etc.) Ian Mosher (keyboard/pianist w/Asia & NuGroove, Mellotones, Metric System, & many others), Jeff Mosher (saxaphonist with Asia & NuGroove, Mellotones, Metric System), & Haley Thomas (Violinist w/The Orchid). from www.jesusatlantic.com/main/modules/news/
