I was listening to The Rankin Family's version of "I'll Tell Me Ma" a few minutes ago. Partway through the song, there's an instrumental bit. I knew that I knew the song from somewhere, but I couldn't figure out where. After listening to it a few times, I realized that it was Molly Rankin's Reel (The Bodhran/Fiddle Medley)...which makes since, considering John Morris wrote it

After many listens to all three albums, I am ready to declare "On Fire" the best Cottars record.

At least in my opinion.

I am very excited because I am going to a Scottish Fest in NhH this weekend with music by the Barra MacNeils and lots of other artists from Canada and Scotland! With the Cottars show this past weekend, this is becoming a great month!

And I see GBS (in the front row!) in less than a month...Ginny, are you jealous?
