Here is a parody I wrote, based on "Send Me a River". If anyone finds it to be disrespectful and/or offensive, it can be deleted. They're calling for a storm today. I'm so sad to see it rain. The moodiness I'm feeling. I'm thinking of moving away from the northern wind. Don't send me a river. Please spare me. Don't send me a river. Cause I am not where I want to be. Don't send me a river. Keep your rain to yourself. Don't send me a river. Give it to somebody else. If I continue to get flooded out, soon I'll be able to catch trout. Don't send me a river. All this rain is a pain. If I get much more It will drive me insane. Down here in Ohio, we get all your rain, and we get all your snow. Don't send me a river. If you think I'm exagerating, let me mention I'm starting to feel like I live on Cape Breton. Don't send me a river.

Good reference to Cape Breton, we've had more than our share of rain/snow here in the Maritimes this winter...actually, it's been mostly snow and freezing rain. Not fun...I liked the song though Cheers, Ginny

Wow funny, I just realized that the day you posted the song was the weekend while I was in Cape Breton, and that was the day I went through about three pairs of socks, cause there was so much water everywhere after a really heavy rain downpour...very fitting indeed
