Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the reel, at least I think thats what it is, that Fiona playes after her Lament for the Lost books. Thanks! Hi faerie "Lament for Lost Books" has proved to be a popular song performed as part of The Cottars' stage shows. Hopefully it will be on their next CD! When I saw the group in August 2005, "Lament" was one of the group's solo turns. After "Lament", it was Rosie's solo turn and she played the reel "Tullochgorum". Hope this is somewhat helpful. Joe

That might be it, I'll try and find sheet music for that, but I was thinking of the one during the merlefest, the one that Fiona playes on the whistle. Is it the same one?

When I saw the Cottars in August, Fiona played solo some Gaelic song on her tin whistle. I don't recall the name of the song, I just recall she said it was Gaelic. It was a very long song, maybe a 5 minute tune. It wasn't a reel, nothing you can dance to. It was a long quite complicated piece, and at the end I thought she was gonna pass out, she was so winded! She got a huge ovation for that song. The conversation here reminded me of that.
