Well....they had one once called "Meet the Cottars"... I saw it on CBC a couple of years ago. I'm not sure where you could view it- cbc.ca maybe?
They were also on a special two years ago with The Chieftains- is that the one you have on tape? They perform Ballinderry and The Captain Campbell Medley on that one.
There might have been another one as well-didn't they do one with John MacDermott once?
Cheers, Ginny

Hi all, If you search on cbc.ca, www.cbc.ca/programguide/program/?program=The+Cottarsthere was a program called "The Cottars" back in 2002. This heartwarming special profiles The Cottars, a group comprised of two sets of siblings with a musical maturity far beyond their years. Starting with their spine-tingling performance at the 2002 East Coast Music Awards, we gradually get to know this youthful quartet of traditional musicians from Cape Breton - what it's like to be a teenager who lives and breathes music, how Cape Breton traditions influence their music, and what lies ahead. Includes performances of "I Know Who Is Sick,""Suilean Dubh," "Balinderry" and "The Briar And The Rose." I would also love to see this CBC special! Also, The Cottars did appear in John McDermott's concert special for PBS, called "A Time to Remember". Between his songs, it showed the group performing as well as fishing, sitting round a campfire, and on a boat. Fiona sings a portion of "Suilean Dubh" and the group performs "The Capt. Campbell Medley."

I know the "time to remember" is shown every now and again, I've seen it twice in teh past 2 or 3 years, so you just have to watch for it, I have no idea about the others but I would like to see them as well.
