What a pity that Michelle Kwan isn't well enough to compete.

I really enjoyed watching this. Kimmee, Emily and Sasha are so graceful.
Congratulations Sasha on your Silver Medal! Will look forward to all three (maybe Michelle Kwan too) in Vancouver 2010!

I tried to watch the couples figure skating but all that tumbling was nausiating. I saw our champs on Letterman though - can't remember their names I'm such a bad fan. I like Michelle too. What was it, her knee that kept her out?

I think Michelle Kwan had a groin injury.

Oh. I don't know why I thought knee I read that she won't compete in the future because of her age. I hope that isn't true.

Yeah, age is catching up to Michelle Kwan. One funny thing I realized is that they train for four years all to try out at the world championships or olympics for a 4 minute program.

^ Yes. I've always thought that was kind of weird myself. I can't imagine waking up at 5 a.m. and working my butt off every day just to possibly LOSE in just a few minutes. It isn't something for me. I think psychologically that would be so terrible.
