hello, I agree its been rather quiet I think the cottars need to do something exciting so we can talk about that too, but this is a good idea Ginny My sister got the beetle and the bard a while ago and I read it, its slighly interesting, I liked the tales that were in there, but skipped over dumbledors comments, they were kinda boring. For christmas I got an irish flute ;D, and am working on playing that, I used to play the concert flute but its been a while, so trying to get the ombechure used to it again. the weather station sounds cool Joe, is it accurate for predicting? Tia Hey Tia Kinda...it will show the rain symbol when the barometer falls etc. But I like that it shows the wind speed so if it's windy out I can dress warmer. That's cool that you got an Irish flute, good luck with it. Best wishes, Joe

Hi all,
Hope you enjoyed that recent spell of warm weather! I will bet that all of us had to look in the attic for the electric fan!
I can't believe how much the weather changed last week. On the 20th, we had daytime temperatures at 35`F (2`C) with a light accumulation of snow. Five days later, it was 90`F (33`C) !
Also most of the trees now have their leaves. It is a bit early to start planting the garden yet. The end of May is when we usually have the last frost.
Enjoy! Joe

Same here! Two weekends ago it was very cold and windy and the snow was just starting to melt...but this past weekend was about 20'C for two days, and yesterday was 25'C. We're having another cold front now though, but it's not cold enough for snow thankfully.
Cheers, Ginny

If the leaves had their leaves, it prob. would not have been so warm here. We've not received much rainfall this month, so the trees are taking longer to leaf up.
