Thanks for this Caite! I saw this in the morning newspaper. It's great that all of the old tires can be recycled into something useful. I wonder if these sidewalks have a bounce to them? Joe

wouldn't that be fun to walk down the sidewalk and be bouncing?

Hi Ginny,
Back in school when I played basketball, one of the schools we played at had a gym with a rubber floor. It was quite bouncy!

Half of the schools I've played basketball at have rubber floors... when you're not used to it, quick stops really hurt your ankles. Unfortunately, none of them bounce. I think it would be fun to have everyone walking down a rubber sidewalk... bouncing.

I heard they trialed them in Prague but scapped the idea because there were too many bouncing Czechs!

I just stared at that for a second, and burst out laughing. Oh dear, I'm going to wake everyone up...

I'm a runner so rubber sidewalks for me would be excellent. I wish they would do something like that!

Personally I love the idea of Rubber sidewalks. I think we should invest in them here in Minnesota.
Do you think they might smell in the summer when they become warm?
Roger, your joke was great! I took one look at started laughing. My dogs woke up because I was laughing so loud. haha

^ They'd probably melt. Especially during the 100 degree weather we had this summer. LOL
