Hi all I won this on eBay. Aselin's song "Farewell to Nova Scotia" is on the CD. Here's the history of the song on Wikipedia.

Wow that's cool. What do you think of the song "Peter's Dream" by Lennie Gallant? I think it's a really nice song...I've been a fan of his since I heard that song.
Cheers, Ginny

Hi Ginny,
"Peter's Dream" by Lennie Gallant is a really good song. My favourite, though, is Gordie Sampson's "Sailing By" (written by Sinead Lohan).
Aselin's song is very good as well. Although she was aged 9 when she recorded "Farewell to Nova Scotia" (in Bruce Guthro's basement according to the liner notes), Aselin sounded like she was 4 or 5 years old. Her voice was shaky and at times very breathy.
