Changes Coming in 2007

Aselin's aunt Brenda wrote a message on Aselin's chat board. She says some very interesting things I think Azi fans should know:

Well, I don't have much info to share except that things are always evolving for Aselin. She has been writing some new material and has been recording that new material. Aselin has a new manager now, so I expect things will get ramped up shortly. As far as this being Aselin's official site, well that is no longer actually accurate....that's why there have been no updates.

Thanks to Aselin's loyal fans who have been here since the beginning. Hopefully there will be something to share with you all soon!

Aselin did do some local performances before Christmas and she will be appearing in a song-writers circle in Isle Madame, Nova Scotia on May 18. This event is a fundraiser for the Cape Breton Cancer Center.

I know this doesn't help much!

Hence, Azi fans should note:

1. Azi is making a new album.
2. Azi has a new manager.
3. www.aselindebison.com is *no longer* Azi's official website.
4. Updates are coming soon.
5. Azi will be appearing in a songwriter's circle in Isle Madame, Nova Scotia on May 18. The proceeds will benefit the Cape Breton Cancer Center.

I wonder why Aselin would get a new manager, and change her website? Anyone care to discuss?

Hi all,

I came across a music site last week that listed Aselin as a client in 2004. It was paquinentertainment.com but the site is down now. I don't know when Aselin was dropped from Brooks Diamond Promotions.

Hey Everyone!

Azi's aunt just wrote some news on the forum. Azi is going to be on television! Here is her message:

Hi All

Aselin will be a guest on Rita MacNeil's televison show entitled "Cape Breton" which will air on CTV on Sunday night April 8, 2007.

A segment of the show was filmed in Arichat at the cathedral and features Canadian Idol runner up Gary Beals.

I wonder if someone who gets CTV could tape it, and put it on U-Tube like someone did with Fiona's performance at the ECMA's. The only bad thing is that Brenda did not tell us what time it starts. I guess we will have to look that up . Anyway, I figured this was good news, as Aselin has, apparently, been going through a lot of changes.
