Here's another early cottars performance on Woodsongs radio. Here's the link... www.woodsongs.com/showlist.aspOnce on the page scan down to show #276, you have a choice of listening to it or viewing it. It's a combinations show with 5-6 different acts of youngsters but the Cottars play a couple different songs and do very well at it. Have fun

The Cottars are on at 15 min. into the clip and again at 44 min. Fiona sings harmony in the final song of the hour, in which most of the young musicians take part.

Hey Joe! The video is even better!!!!!! It is found here: webcast.msc.uky.edu/woodsongs-276.wmvIn it, the Cottars do an encore not found in the audio. They do the Bodhran-Fiddle medley, and then do some step dancing. They get the whole crowd clapping to the beat, and then they get a standing ovation at the very end! There is a humerious part in the video where Rosanne tries to find a place to lay her violin down before step dancing, but cannot find anywhere to put it, so she does the entire stepdance with her violin in her hand. I don't know why those kinda things always happen to Rosanne. When I was at the Dublin Irish Festival a few years ago, it was really, really, really hot, and added to that was the fact that there were stage lights. Needless to say, everyone on stage was drinking lots of water! Anyway, Rosanne is someone who really likes to jump around and stomp her feet on stage. She is very animated up there. Anyway, she accidentally stomped on this huge waterbottle of hers and it flooded the entire back of the stage! She turned about twenty shades of red. Everyone in the front row was laughing. Needless to say, she was quite shy at the autograph session afterwards! God Bless, afanoffiona
