Okay, since there is a GBS page here, I will ask: Does anyone know where I can find any of the Rankin Street's album? I know of one that exists and heard a rumor about another one. Rankin Street was a band featuring Sean, Bob, and Darrell prior to GBS. Finding the albums is a bit of an obsession with me! If anyone knows anywhere that sells them, I would graetly appreciate it!

Hi Adam,
First I would try eBay, then amazon.ca. If all else fails, try an on-line CD shop like cdnow.com

I found a site with all the tracks on it from their only recording. I can't remember the name of it, but when I find it again, I'll post it. I might have found it on the OKP actually. Anyhoo, I think it's a pretty rare CD. I'm currently trying to burn it. I've tried twice, and no success. I tend to listen to the tracks though when I'm on the computer. They do some of the songs GBS does now, such as "Excursion around the bay", "General Taylor" and "Ferryland Sealer". They were a pretty good band.

Hey Ginny! Yes, there is a UK GBS site that has the track listing....which is what started my obsession in finding it. What is OKP?

that is the exact link I was talking about! What do you think of the songs? I personally like As I Roved Out, the I'se the B'ye/Fortune/Billy Peddle medley, and Misty Moisty Morning the best. Cheers, Ginny

I listened to it last night and I love it! It's col hearing GBS songs with a woman singing in the harmonies. The three tracks you picked of liking are the ones that I liked a lot too - but I liked them all. Thanks for the help!
