The calenders were given out at the GBS concession stand (actually by Sean's brother whose brithday was that day!). I own a few shirts. The shirt I got was gray and said "Great Big Sea NFLD Est 1993" on it. I also have the Tee shirts from the Hard and Easy and Road Rage tours. Then, somewhere, I have a hoodie that is blue and says Great Big Sea in yellow letters!

OK, Ginny, since you are now Mari Mac I must tell this funny story. I went to Merrimack College in Massachusetts (pronounced the same way as the song) and my mother had bought "Rant and Roar". One day I was visiting and she said she had a song that was about a woman named Mari Mac so she put it on and the rest is history!

Haha...on the way home from Washington yesterday, my sister pointed out a road sign for Merrimack...I thought that was really funny. What a fun way to become a GBS fan  For me, it was more like "Great Big Sea...hmmm, I've heard of them. They're supposed to be a good band...wow, they do I'se the B'y and the Drunken Sailor..I should buy this!" And the rest is history. Cheers, Ginny  |
