Lucky...I have to wait three I hope I can get it. There's always the possibility that they're late coming in or something...but we won't think that way! Cheers, Ginny

I got it too! It took me 4 stores to find! One had even sold out already! Must be some fanatic GBS fans besides myself in suburban Massachusetts.
I haven't had time to watch the DVD part yet (I'm a busy guy!) but have listened to the CD which is great! Alan sounds like he has a cold but I still love it anyway. Highlights on the CD for me are all the HATE (Hard and the Easy) songs, Scolding Wife, as well as Sea of No Cares (loved that version) and Excursion around the Bay (very nicely done!). I can't wait to watch the DVD since there are some extra stuff on there!

Nice acronym...on the OKP and fansites they say TH&TE I haven't had time to watch the whole thing through yet, but I start the show at Concerning Charlie Horse, and then watch I'm a Rover, A Boat Like Gideon Brown, The Mermaid and then I skip over The River Driver and watch The Scolding Wife. On the second set, I watched Fortune and Old Brown's Daughter. I'm confuzzled though...what happened to Lukey and Come and I Will Sing You? I was looking forward to seeing both... The only extra stuff that's on the DVD is the videos. I've so far watched Lukey and Captain Kidd. I must say I'm impressed Cheers, Ginny

Hi Ginny :smile_Canada:
I really enjoyed watching the DVD performance! My favorites were Billy Peddle, Danny Boy, Excursion Around the Bay, and Old Brown's Daughter (GREAT harmony). Captain Kidd was in my mind all day!
The other songs I liked very much! My least favorites were Concerning Charlie Horse and I'm a Mermaid (although very fun to sing).
I think Sean McCann was the best performer. His Danny Boy was wonderful as was his bodhran and whistle playing.
Bob Hallett was great on the fiddle and accordian. Alan Doyle has a great vocal range.
I enjoyed the bonus videos!!!!! I was surprised to see Paddy Moloney and the Chieftains!
Cheers! Joe

When you say "I'm a Mermaid", do you mean I'm a Rover, or the Mermaid? The Mermaid is one of my favourites..besides the song being funny (and a tad inappropriate ), Sean's mermaid dance is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Danny Boy is really good, and I also love Captain Kidd. I could name off all my other favourites, but that's pretty much every song on the DVD, so I won't bother Sean is my favourite performer as well. I don't like the bonus videos much..well I really like Captain Kidd, and Lukey is pretty good, but When I am King and Shines Right Through Me have really boring videos...I was especially disappointed with When I am King's since that is one of my favourite GBS songs. All the good videos are on their other DVD. Glad to hear that you liked it! Cheers, Ginny

Hey Ginny I mixed up the song title then...blame my scribbles. I meant to say "I'm a Rover". Yeah, "The Mermaid" was fun...and risque! Mari-Mac was awesome! I mean, how many times can one sing (and keep up) to 1/32nd notes ?? Thanks very much Ginny, for recommending GBS! Cheers, Joe PS... the "Captain Kidd" lyrics are still running through my head
