First of, two AWESOME shows and tonight's show in Lowell may have been the best yet.

Ridgefield CT is a small and very rich CT town. (Alan joked he saw houses which all of St Johns could be fit into!) It is a smaller theatre than they usually play which was cool! I had great seats in the balcony. A local rock group - Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers - opened and warmed up the crowd. They put on a very nice energetic set! Sean's GT was amazing and they were lots of fun.

Tonight's show was awesome! I had never heard Rant and Roar before and they did accupella! SONC was fast here and slow in CT whch was nic to hear both versions. The Lowell show was outside on a beautiful night in a park and something about it being outside made it even better! Anyways, I am way too tired to write but wanted to share!

Congrats for attending TWO Great Big Sea concerts in three days! Looks like a great set list for both days.

I remembered that you were going to these concerts, so I played my GBS CD a few hours ago!

I gotta say - I don't know how some people do it. They played 5 shows in 5 nights within about 5 hours of each other and it seemed like many people were going to all the shows. After 2 I was needed two days to rest! They must have more energy than me!

One side note: In Lowell, we were sitting next to a family that was originally from Newfoundland (lots of former Maritimers in Lowell) and they were the nicest people you could ever meet! And the ladies - all in their 70's were jumping around and clapping with the best of them!
