It can sometimes really take a while for a CD to be mixed and ready to be released, and it can take a while for bands to tell fans the release date. For example, Great Big Sea announced to fans that they were recording a new CD in like, September. It wasn't until about April when the release date was announced (which fans were told would be in "early 2008") and it's still another 6 days till it's out. That's just one example, I'm just trying to say that it might be quite a while before we hear anything about a CD release. Just because it was expected to be released in summer or whenever doesn't neccesarily mean that will happen, it could be delayed. Anyway, I'll stop rambling now, and just say that I kind of doubt that the 23rd of June is really going to have any significance to the new CD, other than being one of the tracks (which I hope it is!) ;D

Well I voted that the 23rd of June was a track on the new CD, but I also felt in another poll that the CD would be released this month. It may still happen, but like what Ginny said, sometimes CD releases get delayed for various reasons. There could be legal issues, or a remix is needed of a song that sounded bad, or whatever. I think it will be released "soon".  |
