Hi Folks,

Gordon Lightfoot sings a few good ship songs like Yarmouth Castle and the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

I have been listening to Gordon since Sunday Concert was released on vinyl and it is still one of my favourite albums and gets played regularly.

Seems like a mermaid. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mermaid Only instead of being a maiden, she's a crone. And instead of just seducing the sailors, she kills them. In Irish mythology, there are stories of "hags" who choose whom is going to die.
