in concert w/ the Chieftains Mar. 3 ??

Hi all,

Although we've known about this event for some time, no official confirmation of it was made.

The Chieftains list a performance at the Coronado Theatre in Rockford, IL, on Saturday, March 3. The theatre also mentions that The Cottars will be joining them.

The Chiefains' site mentions this concert but no Cottars. I've tried to e-mail the Coronado Theatre but to no avail.

Hey Joe,

The only show near me is in Connecticut (been in Boston the last two years - which means this marks the one year anniversary of me discovering the Cottars!) and the venue's - Bushnell - site has no mention any any special guests....not just the Cottars but also the Pilatske brothers and other acts that have been touring with them the last few years. I won't be going this year but their annual show is awesome year in and year out!

Hi all,

I got an e-mail from Susan Campbell from the Coronado Theatre...she said that based upon the info she had, The Cottars ARE scheduled to appear in The Chieftains' performance.

Because this event isn't listed on the miramusic.com/cottars site, we are still going to list this as an unconfirmed appearance.
