Thanks Joe; I'll be there! Waterloo is about a 5 hour drive for me, but I'll be there both days. These times work out pretty well, I can be there Friday afternoon, stay overnight and head for home Saturday afternoon. Frankly I didn't know Iowa had ANY Irish festivals. But there will be some good entertainment the Cottars will open for; Gaelic Storm on Friday (that will be wall-to-wall people). and Cherish the Ladies (who I love) on Saturday. Also the Trinity Irish Dancers beforehand on Saturday, they are great too. Wonder what hotel they all stay at; probably the Ramada. I'll probably stay at the Super 8 or something.
