I wonder how that would work...may need a few extra hands, that would always be cool, you could put a concert by yourself

Hey Everyone! I just found the most incredible picture of Fiona! I noticed that the Mira Music website was recently updated. It turns out that there are some new pictures. Take a look at this pict!: Here is the link: www.miramusic.net/cottars/gallery.php?action=showimage&id=21&thegal=The%20Group&oldgal=The%20Group&from=0Wow, she looks awesome in that photo! I wonder if Fiona posted it to make up for Ginny posting the second photo she took of her ;D. God Bless, afanoffiona Edit by Joe...that link had some symbols like & and % ... so I saved the photo to my photobucket page. Enjoy!

Interestingly enough, they are starting to cut back on the photos of Rosanne and Jimmy. I only counted three photos that still have either Rosie or Jimmy in them. I agree with Ginny...updates are coming!

Hey Joe! I did have a pic of Fiona playing the Celtic Harp, but it no longer appears in the picture gallery! Looks like other pics were removed and some filenames were changed. Is this the picture you were looking for? It is one of my favorites!: It is now found at www.miramusic.net/cottars/gallery.php?action=showimage&id=1&thegal=The%20Group&oldgal=The%20Group&from=8. The interesting thing is that the picture was taken by Cape Breton musician Buddy MacDonald. Also interesting is that there is a Gaelic caption underneath it. It reads: Bha Fiona ri ceòl fad a beatha. I think that roughly translates to "Fiona was making music throughout her life." I don't know if that quote is from Buddy MacDonald, or the person who posted the photo, but I thought that was interesting. It would lead one to believe it was Buddy MacDonald since it is in quotes. Anyway, I thought I would post it since I know where it is found now. God Bless, afanoffiona

Hey faerie! I can't tell you where these captions are coming from. I don't know if the Cottars have a lot of Gaelic speaking fans, or what. However, what I can tell you is what the phrase means. Both of these sentences are sentences that use the verb "to be," and I am almost done with that section of my Gaelic studies. However, a sentence with any other verb would be impossible for me to translate . However, this one is not: Tha Fiona 'na seinneadair. It means, "Fiona is the singer." That is really odd considering that it says that Fiona is the one singing "The Briar and the Rose" in the English captions ["Fiona performing "The Briar and The Rose" (photo by Ralph D. Sherman)."]: Gaelic studies are coming slow, and it has been a while since I did the last lesson. When I study Gaelic, I want to do so while taking careful time to learn it properly. That is not easy to do when you are a double major, and have homework and rehearsals up to your ears! God Bless, afanoffiona
