I did like Foreunner, but I loved their first two much better. It actually took me a couple of listens to find what I really liked about Forerunner. whereas with the first two I love everything about the albums, and I think others may feel the same. Of course there isn't anything we can do about it, when an artist or artists decide to go in a new direction you can't stop it.

It does seem a bit of a wait for them to release a schedule of some sort. There may be several reasons why...perhaps it will be harder to get booking with their new line-up, perhaps they don't want to tour until their music arrangements are all set, maybe one or two of them don't want to tour this year...who knows. If I may guess, I think we will hear something very shortly about their plans (at least I hope we do). If we don't something before winter is up, then well...I bet we will.

I just noticed that on the Cottars' miramusic web site that the bios of Roseanne and Jimmy have been removed as of the last update on January 31. There are still some of their photos and their names are listed on the Welcome. The bios of Ciarán and Fiona remain, as would be expected since the MacGillivrays run the site.

Hello Garth,
Also I noticed that the cover of "On Fire" now appears on the miramusic home page.

Hey guys! Guess what? www.miramusic.net/cottars has finally been updated!! Well, a bit. When you click on brief history, there's the new promotional picture. Also, the page with Jimmy and Rosie's bio is gone ... oh well, at least some updates are happening now!! Cheers, Ginny

That's great, Ginny. However, I wonder why they have Fiona's appearance on the John Allen Cameron special as the only upcoming performance.'' It just seems weird that they do not have more concerts lined up. Maybe their management has a specific release date in mind. God Bless, afanoffiona

Well...maybe Fiona is the only one of them who's going to be featured during the tribute..and maybe they don't have any other performances lined up right now... I'm sure that when they do, they'll post it on their site.
Cheers, Ginny

Hi all,
I've copied the posts for Fiona's tribute over at the news 2007 board. We'll continue the discussion over there!

Thanks Joe! It almost seems as if the Mira Music site is more reliable as far as updated information than cottars.com.

Um...I don't think so. I just tried it, and it worked fine for me...maybe the server was down or something.

The site worked for me too, but I assume at some point the site will go down, since it isn't being maintained. The domain expires Tue, Sep 04, 2007 according to Whois.

Ya, it doesn't work for me either. It is rather odd that they are going to be playing in Chicago in a couple of weeks, and just before that performance, they remove the website. God Bless, afanoffiona
